Laura is a French trained chef, a graduate of La Varenne Ecole de Cuisine in Burgundy, France and the Culinary Institute of America Greystone in Napa Valley, California. A “recovering restauranteur”, with a long and successful career in restaurant ownership and catering management, Ms. Cabot is happy to have brought her catering business to the forefront.

She has the rare distinction of being featured in a Superman comic as well as Ladies Home Journal and Continental Airlines popular “In Flight” Magazine.

China is and forever will be an enigma within an enigma. The culture, the food, the architecture and the landscape are all timeless elements that speak of past accomplishments and portend the future.

She has scouted Maine locations for shoots for Anthony Bourdain’s TV show “No Reservations” on the Travel Channel as well as catered for HG TV’s Dream Home Giveaway. She and her team have also debuted events for Volvo, Suburu and many other corporate clients.

Laura has opened a new location at 13 Friendship Street in downtown Waldoboro’s village area. It is headquarters for her expanding catering business and available for rent for smaller events and private dining. In addition, Laura continues to grow extensive gardens ensuring she has the freshest ingredients available.
